Any chance of ESX / ESXi 4.0 support anytime soon?

I am extremely interested in getting ESX drives as well.

Thanks for the inquiry Jimmy and owjeff.

We are constantly seeking to provide features our customers need to improve their storage functionality, performance, availability, and reliability.  VMware ESX support is on our product roadmap.

We are not able to address release schedules because release dates and schedules change, but it is on our roadmap and we are working feverishly to complete it.

This is currently scheduled for our next major release.

Next major release = days? weeks? months? years?

We're basing some purchasing decisions on when this will be available.

Hi, owjeff,
Our next driver release is in January.  Can you tell me a little more about the application and environment?  sandersen@fusionio.com
I look forward to talking with you soon.

We're currently using the 80GB ioDrive in a Windows Server 2008 SQL server. They have performed so well, we are looking to upgrade to the 640GB model for that SQL server. We would like to move the 80GB cards to our vSphere environment to use for other high-performance VM's if possible.

Jeff,

Not a problem.  I would like to set up a conference call to go over the details and options.  Please reply to my contact information listed below.  We look forward to working with you on this opportunity.

Best,

I am also very interested in ESXi drivers.

We have an ioDrive H/L Duo 320GB, just received

and planning for 64bit SQL Server use on Windows Server 2008 R2.

For now host system is going to be Windows XP 64 bit.

I guess I 'll have to wait and then transfer my VM to ESXi.

I'm also very interested in ESX drivers, I have a Duo640 on eval at the moment, although using a Windos 2008 host and iSCSI target to run the IOdrive, I have access to a number of  well-equipped labs to test things on.

I'm a VMware vExpert via my blog at http://vinf.net (more blatant traffic whoring across your forum today, my apologies) would be keen to try out any beta drivers or anything you have, there is a lot of interest within the VMware community about running VMs from solid state storage.

Hi,

We are about to Eval a 320GB SLC card, our sysadmin is asking if there are ESX drivers available yet?

Is there somewhere I should be checking for updates or is this the best place?

Cheers,

Charlie

Same questions go here.  Is there driver for VSphere 4.0 or 4.1 ?  Would it be officially supported soon ?

Thanks,

I would contact your sales person or "sanderson@fusionio.com" as referenced above to see if we can't get you some more information on this.
