Marcus, where is your video conversion prog(s) installed? Also, where are the files you intend to convert stored?

Hi Wayne, Thank you for the feedback on the ioDrive, we think it's great stuff too. Great question! Lets address the question first and then dive into the why and how. The question was "could add another ioExtreme card to my server and have it recognized by the OS?" Your OS and card application...

Hello Dane, Congratulations on your Apple Mac Pro and Fusion-io ioXtreme purchase. Lets start with a couple of clarifications and talk about options. The MAC Pro is a mighty workstation, and can be loaded well. By default it will be running Apple OSX, Leopard or Snow Leopard. At this time the ioXtreme...

I can verify that the original FusionIO 80GB SLC PCIe card works just fine on a Mac Pro Dual Quad Core Xeon 54xx (Jan 2008 release) when you boot into Windows 2008 R2. I would not expect the FusionIO extreme and extreme Pro to be any different in terms of compatibility. It's not a hardware issue...
Since no one else has asked this question I will. I ask this because I will be shortly purchasing a Mac Pro and an iMac desktop. Will the io-extreme(pro) work on a mac running linx or Windows xp/7 through boot camp?
Absolutely! Both the ioXtreme and ioXtreme Pro...
